About the Role
As an Animal Outcome Officer, you will be the first point of contact for members of the public seeking assistance with lost and found animals, stray intakes, surrenders, and adoptions. This role requires compassion, professionalism, and a strong commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for both animals and their owners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outstanding customer service, assisting the public with lost and found enquiries, pet surrenders, and adoption processes.
• Assess and process animal intakes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
• Work closely with internal teams to determine the best outcomes for animals, including reunification, rehoming, and alternative care solutions.
• Maintain accurate records in our database and ensure compliance with RSPCA policies and procedures.
• Provide support and guidance to pet owners, offering education and resources for responsible pet ownership.
About You:
• A strong passion for animal welfare and a customer-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
• Previous experience in customer service, animal care, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Confidence in handling a variety of animals safely and compassionately.
• Computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
